Aethon nodded and doffed his cap as he walked from the ship—the signal to begin their work. Two selectees disguised as Legion troopers took the sentries place for the time being. The mission time only allowed for as long as it would take to refuel and resupply the ship. They would use comms but only to establish when the ship was ready to board.

Hawne led his black-and-gray trooper-armored squad, in a gaggle rather than formation, toward the stairs. Some carried sidearms, while others carried Legion plasma rifles. They ascended to the second floor, where the barracks were located.

Sam Rider and his team of impostors descended the stairs to the basement, where they hoped the ammo storage would be located. Each man was armed and walked as if they belonged there.

Edgar led his squad toward the dining facility, and Wardy, dressed as a Legion Intelligence Commander, walked with the pilot Jason and the two females wearing high priest cloaks.

Tick tock, the selectees were on the clock.
